Life in Voices helps you record and preserve your loved one’s legacy through voice-recorded stories. We help people capture the emotion behind their story, their laugh in the happy moments, their silence in the hard ones.
Each week, your parent or grandparent (or other loved one) receives a thoughtful question designed to spark meaningful memories or words of wisdom. Their answers are recorded and saved — one voice at a time, one memory at a time.

52 Weekly Prompts Sent Straight to Their Inbox

Receive Weekly Emails: Every week, the Storyteller receives an easy-to-follow email with a question prompt and a 'Start Recording' button.

Click and Record: They click the link and are taken to a simple recording page. From there, they just press Start Recording and tell their story. They can Pause and Resume anytime, make multiple takes, and choose which ones to submit.

Submit: After recording, they hit "Submit," and their story is instantly saved—no complicated steps.

Recordings: Recordings are then sent to the nominated person/s for listening and downloading after submission. You will also receive a quarterly email summarising the questions and recordings.**

Prefer to keep your stories just for yourself? That’s perfectly fine. You can save your recordings and choose to share them as a gift whenever you wish — simply don’t add any recipients, and all recordings will be sent directly to you.

Why Recording Your Parents’ Stories Matters

Many families wish they had asked their parents or grandparents more about their lives while they still had the chance.

Recording their stories preserves not only memories and life lessons, but the sound of their voice — a piece of family history that can be heard again for generations.

Sometimes all it takes to uncover those stories is a simple question.
